Violin, viola, cello & bass repair and restoration. Estimates for repairs are free. As a one-person shop you work directly with the luthier working on your instrument. We offer timely bow repairs. Same-day bow rehairs are possible, but please call ahead to schedule. A selection of Siberian stallion hair grades are available. Repairs cost $65-vi/va, $70-cello and $75-bass. New handcrafted violins and violas made by Don are available for sale. There is always work in progress on his bench. In addition, we have a selection of vintage restored violins from France, Germany, and the US for sale. They are warrantied and in excellent condition. Rental instruments and bows can be adjusted and serviced with personalized attention.
