FAQs
-
Soundspace is a network of membership-based music networking, rehearsal, producing, and recording facilities. Memberships to Soundspace locations are paid monthly, and artists book their time on their chosen location’s communal calendar.
-
To sign up, click on the ‘Sign In / Join’ button in the top right corner of our website. You will be directed to set up an account and book an Onboarding where a member of the Soundspace team will show you the ropes.
-
Being a member grants you access to the location of your choice, and allows you to create bookings on a shared calendar with zero fees.
Membership begins at sign up and your first month’s fee is charged immediately. After signup, membership fees are charged to your account on a monthly basis. For example, if you signed up on the 15th of January, you will be charged the membership price again on the 15th of February.
-
To book a session you will need to first create an account and complete an onboarding. Following your onboarding, you will be able to log in at sndspc.com to access the booking calendar. Once logged in and using the calendar, you may immediately reserve a session.
To overcome calendar overflow we are moderating each booking, and ask that members not book more than 4 hours of the calendar at a time.
You can change or cancel bookings at any time by accessing the calendar via your online Soundspace account or via the email sent to you after each booking. Bookings are available for up to 30 days in advance from the current date.
-
Bookings are 2, 3, or 4 hours, and Conference room bookings are 1 hour. Unlike traditional rehearsal spaces, Soundspace does not offer “lock-out” times. This way, our rehearsal spaces remain flexible and allow us to offer all of our members more access.
-
Our moderation system makes the calendar open and fair for all members. This prevents over saturation of bookings on the calendar, and offers members a much larger chance of booking their preferred time slot.
If your preferred time slot is booked, you can click the ‘notify me if this booking becomes available’ button which will send you a notification via email if that time slot becomes available due to cancellation.
-
We ask that Guitarists and Bassists bring their own amps, instruments, appropriate cables and pedals.

We ask producers and recording artists to bring their own headphones.
